When animals are faced with competition they make decisions based on the best course to achieve the results they desire - flee, fight or stay still.  Researchers have found that plants can also detect competing plants and change their growth pattern based on the results they want to achieve - such as more sunlight, more water or animal attention to pollinate.

At times my workplace can be contentious. I remind myself to stay away from conflict. It is much easier to focus on my responsibilities when I avoid negative energy.
I know I am unable to completely eliminate negativity, but I avoid encouraging it. Whenever I am able to pacify a situation, I take action to calm things down. I know that the team at work produces better results when everyone is on the same page.

How many snow angels does it take to break the record of number made at the same time? We know you’ll be surprised by the answer because it surprised us too!  

In an effort to break a record in 2011, 22,022 people dropped into the snow in Nova Scotia and made snow angels in over 130 locations around the country. They hold the record for the most snow angels made at the same time in multiple locations. The record for the most snow angels created in the same place at the same time is held by a group of 8,962 people who made snow angels in Bismarck, North Dakota in February 2007.
