In The News

In the news today is a report from Albert Einstein College of Medicine describing the illness pattern for individuals who have lived well into their 90’s. The statistics were compiled from two different long-term studies - The Longevity Genes Project and the New England Centenarian Study.

In both studies, individuals who lived into their 90s and beyond often didn’t experience some of the major illnesses and diseases that affect a younger population who were dying at a younger age. These conditions included cardiovascular disease, cancer, hypertension and stroke.

This is good news! You have the ability to not only live longer, but also to live healthier without the challenges, pain and discomfort that accompanies many of the illnesses challenging the elderly.
