Daily Health Tip

Suffering from obesity or being overweight may increase your potential risk of many different health conditions. One strategy to help normalize weight is intermittent fasting, which can be easy to incorporate into your routine and produces demonstrable results.

Making Changes

It’s easy to incorporate fasting or intermittent fasting into your routine. There are three different ways of fasting:

1. Fast from dinner until lunch making sure you go over 12 hours between meals.

2. Fast two days a week for 24 hours.

3. Combine the two types fasting for 24 hours once a week and between dinner and lunch or lunch and breakfast the remaining days of the week.

Remember to drink enough water that your urine is a light straw color to stay hydrated and eat plenty of healthy saturated fats to fuel your body.

Daily Affirmation

I banish clutter. I regularly go through my garage and closets to gather items I can sell or donate to charities.
I pare down my to-do list and streamline my work. I identify my priority tasks and tackle them first.
Fact or Fiction?

Stress is something we all experience. Some of it is from situations in life we would consider good or happy - such as having a baby or getting married. But whether it’s from positive or negative circumstances, many of us believe some of these myths - none of which are true:

  1. All stress is the same
  2. If a stress reducing strategy works for most people it will work for me too.
  3. Stress is always bad.
  4. Stress is everywhere so there is no use trying to deal with it.
  5. If I’m not having symptoms of stress then I’m not under any stress.
  6. I only have to deal with stress if it is major or causing significant problems.

Have a wonderful day!
